Blog Reflection Week 7

What have you done this week?


This week we started to finalise our pre production research. We created a shooting script which consisted of a list of shots we will use, and we numbered each of them. We created location reccies, which were detailed sheets of each location we would use including how and why we would use them and pictures. We also created flat plans for our ancillary products as well as a cast list and filming schedule.

What key concepts did you work on?

As we are drawing nearer to the actual production video we have started to consider more technical aspects such as the times us and our cast would be available, the equipment we should use and how we should use lesson time to maximize the potential of our video. We used theories such as the hypodermic needle to consider how our audience would react and intake our music video as well as their thoughts and ideas.

What were the main revisions you have made?
We have cut out two cast members and decided to just use one as we realised that it created inconveniences such as people being unavailable at certain times. We wanted to get all the footage shot as soon as possible so we'd create time to refilm anything if needed however if people were unavailable this would take longer than anticipated.
