Blog reflection Week 4

What have you been doing this week?
This week we had to amalgamate our ideas which we would use for our final product. I chose my song which was Rihanna by Yxng Bane and my artist chose the waiting game by Luke Christopher. Each person had to present their ideas to the class, including what genre music video it would be, the intended target audience, locations and mise-en-scence and narrative structure.



Presenting in front of the class was good, it allowed me to share my ideas and get useful feedback as well as be inspired by others. Also, I got the chance to see my partner's song and it was very interesting so we decided to go with his choice.
We have discussed initial ideas and have decided that the music video will definitely be a narrative music video. We have also discussed other details like the cast we should use and how to obtain more audience feedback. We have planned to do a focus group within our peers and record us asking them a series of questions and then listen to the answers and analyze responses. We feel this will give us greater insight into the things which would make an ideal music video.
